We climbed as far up Croagh Patrick as our legs would carry us, which is to say we got as far as the ridge before the kids decided that it was time to go back down. And right they were, because if we had timed it differently we would have missed this beautiful sunset over Clare Island.
Great timing to have a break in the clouds just as we arrived at the lake. The sky was so brilliantly blue in this image that I had a hard time deciding to make it black and white; but the impact is just so much greater. I'm happy with this one.
